Community Networking

Connecting skilled migrants across the UK to stand as one united front effectively.

Fact-Checking & Truth

Dispelling rumors and providing verified, evidence-based updates to our members.

"Most of us came here under a specific set of rules. We built our lives, careers, and financial plans based on those rules. Changing them now isn't just a policy shift—it's a breach of trust."

We fight for legitimate expectation

The Core Legal Argument

Key Concept

Legitimate Expectation

When skilled workers moved to the UK, they did so based on a clear set of rules: work for 5 years, pay taxes, and gain Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). This created a "Legitimate Expectation" akin to a contract.

The government's proposal to retrospectively change these terms (moving the goalposts to 8 or 10 years) is, in our legal view, unlawful and unfair. It imposes unforeseen financial burdens and delays integration for thousands of families.
